HeartReach is a community outreach initiative dedicated to raising awareness about valvular heart disease—a hidden epidemic affecting 14 million Americans. Our mission is to bridge the gap between awareness and access, ensuring every patient receives life-saving care.

Our Mission:

We exist to close the gap between diagnosis and treatment for valvular heart disease. Through education, community screening, provider training, and patient navigation, we work to ensure that no patient is left behind due to lack of awareness, access barriers, or systemic inequities.

We believe that:

• Every patient deserves access to life-saving care, regardless of race, geography, or socioeconomic status

• Education and awareness are the first steps to closing treatment gaps

• Community-based screening can identify patients before it's too late

• Provider education is essential to ensure patients receive appropriate referrals

• Patient navigation helps overcome barriers to accessing specialized care

Our Story:

HeartReach was founded on a deeply personal experience. Our founder's grandfather was diagnosed with severe aortic stenosis in his 90s. Despite being symptomatic and eligible for TAVR, he declined treatment because he believed open-heart surgery was his only option—and at his age, he felt the risk was too great. 6 months later, he passed away from heart failure after declining treatment. 

This story is not unique. Thousands of patients and families face similar gaps in knowledge, access, and care every year. HeartReach was created to ensure that no one else suffers unnecessarily because they don't know their options exist early on and may be wait too long for safe treatment.
